The objective was to verify what is happening inside the shelter, identify findings, and apply corrective measures in accordance with protection protocols. A comprehensive administrative review was also ordered in the Senniaf offices. The results will be presented to the Board of Directors as part of the institutional follow-up. Another point that was not overlooked was the situation of adults with illnesses and disabilities who remain in the center. Management, supervision, and decision-making processes related to the center's operation will be evaluated. The scandal over alleged irregularities at the Comprehensive Care Center (CAI) in Tocumen went directly to the Council of Cabinet. Carles reiterated that follow-up will be permanent and that urgent measures will be applied in the short, medium, and long term. "The center of this discussion should not be a political dispute, but the protection of children, adolescents, and youth," affirmed the head of Mides before the Cabinet.
