The National Police is calling on citizens to avoid participating in these clandestine activities, which in most cases end in fights, injuries, and arrests, the entity added. During a search and raid operation, confirmed by Subcommissioner Joel Hurtado Llin, head of the 8th Western Police Zone, some 40 people were apprehended and illicit substances and a large-caliber firearm with its respective ammunition were seized. The detainees were taken to the nearest police station to be later referred to the competent authority.
