Panama, March 16, 2026 — A 27-year-old Panamanian woman has been deported from the United States to Panama. She was apprehended in the U.S. at the request of Interpol due to her alleged involvement in a triple homicide that occurred in 2022. The Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ) carried out the apprehension after the woman was escorted to Tocumen International Airport from the U.S. The suspect was transferred to the DIJ headquarters in Ancón, where she is now under the orders of the Metropolitan Prosecutor's Office, Homicide Section, for the initiation of the judicial process against her. The woman is linked to the triple homicide of Luis Mora, Nicolle Quintero (both 30 years old and a couple), and Rolando Acosta Mosquera (21 years old). The crime occurred in the early morning hours of September 1, 2022, when the victims were buying hot dogs in the parking lot of a gas station located at Plaza Tocumen, in the Don Bosco district. On that day, the victims did not even have time to get out of the 4x4 vehicle they were in, as they were surprised by several hitmen when they arrived at the fast-food stall. Two other people at the scene were also shot, but survived. The entire event was captured on video thanks to a surveillance system installed near the scene.
