Today, Alianza Fútbol Club and Club Deportivo Universitario will determine the last team to qualify for the Clausura tournament semifinals of the Panamanian Football League (LPF) when they face off in the second playoff matchup.
The match will take place at Estadio de Los Andes starting at 8:00 PM.
Alianza FC finished in second place in the Eastern Conference with 28 points, having won eight games, drawn four, and lost four.
Meanwhile, Club Deportivo Universitario secured the third position with 19 points, after winning five matches, drawing three, and losing five.
The winner of this series will face San Francisco in the semifinals on Sunday, November 16 (away leg) and Friday, November 21 (home leg).
The final of the LPF Clausura tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, at the Rommel Fernández National Stadium.
In the other semifinal, Plaza Amador will face the winner of the playoff series between Sporting San Miguelito and Club Atlético Independiente de La Chorrera (CAI), who played last night.
The first and second legs of this semifinal will be held on Saturdays, November 15 and 23.
