Panamanian boxers Jaime Arboleda and Orlando 'Virus' Mosquera have stated they are in excellent physical condition for their upcoming bout on Saturday, December 13, in the main event of the 'Fuego contra Fuego' fight night. The event will be held at the Gimnasio Tierra de Campeones Atheyna Bylon in Panama City, paying tribute to sporting legend Ismael Laguna. The fight between Mosquera and Arboleda is for the vacant national lightweight title over 10 rounds. At a promotional press conference for the event, other boxers participating in the program were also present. The event is organized by Master Promotions and Guantes de Acero. In a co-main event, the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latin super-welterweight title will be contested between Cuban Alex Esponda and Colombian Maykol 'El Diamante' Mendoza over 10 rounds. In another bout, the undefeated Panamanian Carlos 'El Gallero' Rodríguez will face Costa Rican Denis Espinoza Centeno over 8 rounds at 115 pounds. Another fight added to the card is between Panamanian Eusebio Acevedo and Mexican José Guillermo Alvarado over 8 rounds at 135 pounds. In other bouts, Antonio Tzamaernda (Ecuador) will face Ezequiel Bonilla (Panama) over 6 rounds at 108 pounds. The Puerto Rican Derriek Cuevas will face the Panamanian Rafael Bethancourt over 8 rounds at 154 pounds.
