The Panamanian Football Federation has announced the hiring of Felipe Baloy as the new coach of the Panama Under-17 Men's National Team. His main challenge will be to qualify Panama for the next FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar 2026. Baloy's previous experience includes winning a silver medal at the 2025 Central American Games in Guatemala and a runner-up finish at the UNCAF FIFA Forward Panama 2025 tournament with the Under-19 team. The Panama U-17 team is training at the COS Sports Plaza ahead of their debut in the 2026 CONCACAF U-17 Qualifying Championship.
