The New York Red Bulls II team, the current champion of the MLS Next Pro (third division), will hold a preseason camp in Panama, where they will also play two friendly matches against clubs in the Panamanian Football League (LPF). The club will be in Panama from February 17 to 23. "We are excited about the opportunity to hold our preseason camp in Panama and thank CD Plaza Amador for hosting us," said coach Dominik Wohlert in an interview published on the team's website, which competes in Major League Soccer (MLS). "Training in a different environment allows our players to grow on and off the field, build strong relationships, and continue their development as we prepare for the upcoming season," Wohlert added. According to the schedule, the New York Red Bulls II team will arrive in Panama City on February 17 and will hold its first training session on February 18. They will then play friendly matches against Tauro FC on February 19 and CD Plaza Amador on February 22 at COS Sports Plaza at 5 PM. The American club highlighted that Plaza Amador has formed several talents for the first and second Red Bull teams over the years, such as defender Omar Valencia, midfielder Rafael Mosque, and forward Mijahir Jiménez.
