The duo of Arnulfo Suárez and Henry Pozo won the first division of the national qualifier for the National Frontenis Circuit, remaining undefeated. In the final, they defeated Oscar Gómez and Pedro Rueda with a final score of 30 to 13. Over a weekend of intense activity centered at the Spanish Society of Charity, the event served to select the national team that will represent the canal delegation at the upcoming international event, the Panama Open 8, to be held from March 23 to 28. The national competition aimed to select the best rackets in all racquet sports to compete in the "Panama Open" tournament, with delegations from Puerto Rico, Cuba, the United States, Mexico, Panama, and others. Third place in the category was taken by the team of Carlos Ortega/Ernesto Aleman, who defeated Jorge Solis and his son by a close score of 30 to 29.
