The Metropolitan University of Science and Technology (Umecit) team defeated Herrera FC 1-0 in the final match of matchday 10 of the Panamanian Football League (LPF) Clausura tournament. The match was held at the COS Sports Plaza. Umecit scored the winning goal in the 79th minute when Jesús Araya headed the ball into the net. With this victory, Umecit accumulated a total of 15 points, placing them in third position in the Eastern Conference, just two points behind Plaza Amador and Alianza, who have 17 points each. Following Umecit are Tauro FC (14), Sporting San Miguelito (14), and Árabe Unido de Colón (13). In the Western Conference, the leader is Veraguas United with 15 points, followed by Unión Coclé, which has the same number of points but a lower goal difference. Next are CAI (14), Club Deportivo Universitario (8), San Francisco FC (7), and Herrera FC (7).
