Laguna Premium Boxing Promotions, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, will increase its activity in Olympic boxing in 2026. The announcement was made yesterday at a press conference by former world champion Anselmo 'Chemito' Moreno, who, along with his wife Rouss Laguna, leads the boxing promotion company. 'Chemito' Moreno informed that the launch of the promotion company in 2026 will take place this Friday, March 27th, with an outdoor, free Olympic boxing event. The venue will be Francisco Arias Paredes Park, located between Avenida Cuba and Avenida Perú, in the city of Panama. The event, supported by the Municipality of Panama, will feature a total of 20 fights and will include boxers from Panthers Boxing Gym, Furia del Este, Municipal Police of Panama, Somos Más que Vencedores, the gym of former world champion Guillermo Jones, Club Centenario, and others. However, if a gym is interested in participating, it must present its boxers at the official weigh-in tomorrow, Friday, at the Pedro 'El Rockero' Alcázar gym in Curundú, at 8 a.m. The event will start at 6 p.m. and will ensure security for attendees.
