The Panamanian Football Federation has announced the official call-ups for its football and futsal teams that will represent the country at the 2026 South American Youth Games, to be held from April 12 to 25 in Panama City. The Men's Under-17 team, led by Felipe Baloy, is a team that arrives with important credentials for having recently secured its qualification for the Qatar 2026 World Cup, which gives it additional competitive value for this regional tournament. This squad is made up of Adamir Aparicio, Isaías Abuabara, Alberto Adams, Arian Reyes, Stephens Domínguez, Gian Carlos Alemán, Cristian Ibarra, Davis Wallace, Ian Carlos Centella, Joseph López, Lucas Norte, Lucio Ceballos, Alfredo Maduro, Alexander Tull, Joseph Choy, Cristian Morán, Oliver Pinzón and Thiago Chalmers, a group that mixes local talent with international experience from academies abroad. In the women's branch, the Under-17 women's team will be under the direction of Spanish coach Gerard Aubí and will have players such as Avril Potvin, Camila Aparicio, Yasselis Magallón, Julianna Alvarado, Cristabella Ríos, Guillehely Distancia, Sheris Gutiérrez, Vera Batista, Alexa Ortega, Yohanis Batista, Ana Pérez, Gabriela Rodríguez, Natalia Farberoff, Naomi Zafrani, Kelly Zapata, Shaday Mow, Maryfer De Gracia and Alisson Samudio.
