
The National Bank of Panama announced that it plans to allocate 47.0 million balboas in 2025 to the agricultural sector of the province of Darién. This investment is part of a total budget of 221.0 million balboas designated for the sector.
The banking entity seeks to promote the development of the productive sector in Darién, which is why it has organized its second agricultural meeting. During this event, strategies were discussed to strengthen agriculture and livestock in the region, as well as to promote sustainability and innovation in the sector.
In the words of a representative of the National Bank of Panama: "We are committed to the development of the agricultural sector in Darién and throughout the country. We want to support producers so they can improve their productivity and competitiveness in an increasingly demanding market. This investment of 47.0 million balboas is just the beginning of our long-term commitment to the sector."
