Insurance brokers in Panama generated revenue of just over 175.6 million dollars in December 2024, representing an increase of 24.8% compared to the 493.8 million obtained in the same month of the previous year.
Current revenues reached 616.2 million dollars in January 2025, generating a surplus of 111 million dollars compared to the budgeted amount of 505 million. This figure also represents a significant increase compared to previous periods.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time that the Superintendency of Insurance and Reinsurance of Panama publishes annual results of the insurance brokerage business, revealing the leading companies in this activity.
In the words of a spokesperson for the superintendency: "These numbers demonstrate the solid performance of the insurance brokerage sector in the country, showing considerable growth in revenues and a surplus in current funds compared to what was estimated for the period."
