The National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) informs that tomorrow, November 19, the water supply will be interrupted in several areas of North Panama due to the interconnection of a 6-inch pipe at the Caimitillo pumping station.
These works are essential to optimize the drinking water supply in the sector. The work will be carried out from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will affect the supply in the following communities: Guarumal, Caimitillo Centro, Los Yungues and Marañonal.
On the other hand, IDAAN has announced a new date for the work at the Roberto Reina water treatment plant in Herrera. Due to incidents recorded last weekend due to the rise of the La Villa river, these works will be carried out this Thursday, November 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During this period, the water service will also be affected.
