Over 100 entrepreneurs from the Ngäbe-Buglé region have successfully completed a digital training program. Over two months, they completed ten modules focused on business formalization, innovation, and digital tools for e-commerce. The training was supported by the Center for Research and Innovation in Education, Science, and Technology (CiiECYT-AIP / ITSE), the company CENTER, and funded by the National Secretariat for Science, Technology, and Innovation (SENACYT). Participants learned how to position and sell their products on the www.center.com.pa platform, which promotes digital transformation and inclusive entrepreneurship in Panama. The program aimed to foster innovation and economic development in the region, enabling entrepreneurs to acquire new skills to grow and develop their initiatives.
The event brought together participants from seven districts: Munä, Mironó, Besikó, Nole Duima, Jirondai, Kankintú, and Kusapín, covering the three regions of the comarca. Community leaders and facilitators from Infoplazas AIP also participated, strengthening their abilities to promote virtual learning and provide technological support in their communities.
The event was held with the collaboration of the 'Communication Capacity Generation Project' of the Universal Energy Access Program of CIDES, financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
