The Authority for Consumer Protection and Competition Defense (Acodeco) has issued a warning about the recall of two Belkin products due to defects that could pose a risk to consumers.
Affected products: * Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro (model MMA008) – A motorized phone stand. * Belkin BoostCharge USB-C PD Power Bank 20k (model BPB002) – A portable external battery for various devices.
The manufacturer has indicated that in Panama, 21 units of the Auto-Tracking Stand Pro and 178 units of the BoostCharge USB-C PD Power Bank 20k have been identified, which could present a risk of overheating in some units.
To date, no incidents have been reported in the country.
