Residents of Colón are urged to stock up at sales centers to purchase Christmas products at more economical prices. The sale of Christmas boxes will begin on December 3rd in various provinces, including Colón, where distribution in this province will take place from December 16th to 19th in different districts. The creation of Christmas boxes is part of the activities leading up to the IMA's Naviferias, which will be held in December. The IMA will distribute approximately 500,000 Christmas boxes nationwide at a cost of $15 each. The Institute of Agricultural Marketing (IMA) in the province of Colón has begun assembling Christmas boxes at the facilities of MIDA in the Buena Vista district, in the Transisthmus area, with the support of officials from Pandeporte and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). Each box will include products such as picnic ham, pineapple, rice, gandú, and sugar.
