Panama has announced three types of bonuses for pensioners. All retirees and beneficiaries of the Invalid, Old Age and Death (IVM) and Professional Risks programs who are on the payroll for the second half of December 2025 will receive a $60 bonus under Law 51 of 2005. Those who were on the payroll for the first half of June 2024 will receive a $40 bonus under Law 438 of 2024. Additionally, retirees with a pension amount between $800.01 and $1,600.00 who are on the payroll for the second half of December 2025 will receive a $100 bonus under Law 70 of 2011. This bonus is for those who were not granted the legally mandated pension increase. The Social Security Fund (CSS) announced that all payments will be made on Friday, December 19, 2025. On this date, the year-end special bonuses will also be paid out. It is important to note that those who joined the payroll after June 2024 are not eligible for these bonuses.
