Panama's Government Launches Youth Internship Program

In the country, there is an abundance of willingness to work, but a lack of opportunities. The Ministry of Labor has introduced an internship program that will allow young people to apply their knowledge, learn on the job, and gain experience in real work environments with clear rules and safe conditions. This initiative aims to combat youth unemployment and give them a real chance to start their careers on the right foot. Many young people are now closely following how the program will be implemented and when it will start. The proposal was approved in its third debate with 47 votes in favor. The Internship Program is aimed at young people between 18 and 25 years old, who often run into the same wall: they are asked for experience, but no one gives them the first opportunity.
