The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) began this Friday the process of dissolving 180,346 legal entities, as part of actions aimed at the cleansing and updating of registry information. The MEF reported that only correction of dissolution procedures will be accepted, specifically requests for the reinstatement of those legal entities that present the situation of multiple Unique Taxpayer Registrations (RUC) and are in good standing in at least one of them. The corresponding list can be consulted through the link enabled on the Public Registry of Panama portal: https://registro-publico.gob.pa/descargarfoliossuspendidos/ and is also available on the website of the National Commission Against Money Laundering (CNBC), https://cnbc.mef.gob.pa/. The entity emphasized that this measure seeks to guarantee the correct updating of corporate information and facilitate the corresponding administrative processes.
