The director of the Institute for the Training and Use of Human Resources (Ifarhu), Carlos Godoy, announced that the list of pre-selected candidates for the scholarship contest will be released next week. In an interview with TVN Noticias, he mentioned that over 151,000 applicants participated in this year's contest nationwide.

The official highlighted that the institution is working on the final details to announce the list of benefiting students. He stated that the list is expected to be expanded, aiming to reach around 100,000 pre-selected candidates between the General Scholarship Contest and the one for people with disabilities. Godoy revealed that the initial call for the program contemplated about 50 million dollars, so the institution is analyzing how to maximize the program's coverage and benefit more students, both at the school and university levels.

To be eligible for the program, the minimum average is 4.5 in basic and secondary education; at the university level, the index is 2.0. The Institute for the Training and Use of Human Resources (Ifarhu) plans to publish next week the list of pre-selected candidates for the General Scholarship Contest.
