The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of Panama has a clear strategy: to reward those who comply with tax regulations. Participants must submit valid tax invoices issued between March 15 and May 15, 2026. The process is simple: each participant must collect five tax invoices and place them in a plain white or manila envelope. To prevent fraud, the same person cannot win more than one prize in a single draw. Draws will be held by region. The first one is scheduled for May 19 in Panama, followed by other provinces on subsequent dates. Each draw will distribute 25 prizes totaling B/. 110,000, including five prizes of B/. 10,000, ten of B/. 5,000, and ten of B/. 1,000. The final draw is set for May 28 in the provinces of Herrera, Los Santos, and Coclé. Envelopes with incomplete or unclear information will be disqualified. The MEF emphasizes that this initiative aims to encourage proper tax compliance.
