The Authority for Consumer Protection and Competition Defense (Acodeco) has warned about the promotion of a new entertainment project driven by the same organizer linked to the Snowland case, which generated multiple complaints in December 2025. The strongest precedent is the Snowland case itself, where consumers denounced that the advertising did not correspond to the experience offered. This situation led to administrative actions under Law 45 of 2007, which regulates consumer protection and competition in the country. As a result of these investigations, Acodeco sanctioned the promoter with a fine of B/. 15,000.00 for misleading advertising, after irregularities in the event's promotion were confirmed. Now, with the circulation of new promotional content—much of it on social media and using digital tools—the entity has asked the public to act with caution. It emphasized that it is key to verify all information before making payments or reservations to avoid falling into possible scams. The institution reminded that all misleading advertising is punishable and that providers must comply with what they offer. It also insisted that consumers must check the organizer's data, demand clear information, and confirm permits before handing over money. Acodeco assured that it remains vigilant and reiterated its call to report any irregularity through its official channels, in defense of consumer rights.
