The Institute for Human Resources Training and Utilization (Ifarhu) reported that the first payment for the PASE-U 2026 scholarship has been delayed. This is because the institute is still awaiting the official list from the Ministry of Education (Meduca) with the registration of students enrolled for the 2026 school year. According to the institution, the disbursement will be made once the database of former beneficiaries is updated and new students are integrated, following the official records from Meduca. Ifarhu also announced that it is progressively implementing the payment of the PASE-U scholarship through ACH (bank accreditation) for all beneficiaries nationwide. This transition aims to reduce the issuance of physical checks, a process that currently generates high operational and logistical costs. With this system, it is expected to expedite not only the first payment but also the payments for the second and third quarters of the year. The institution detailed that it will soon announce the availability of the bank accreditation system and the steps for beneficiaries to receive their funds electronically.
