Fuel Prices in Panama to Increase Starting April 3

This adjustment is due to the volatility of the international energy market and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, which have been pushing up crude oil prices. During this period, 95-octane gasoline will increase by 11.1 cents per liter, 91-octane by 10.3 cents, while low-sulfur diesel will see the biggest hike at 14.8 cents per liter. In the Panama and Colón areas, 95-octane gasoline will be priced at 1.255 balboas per liter, 91-octane at 1.168, and diesel at 1.358. Prices gradually increase towards the interior of the country, reaching in Changuinola up to 1.305 for 95-octane gasoline and 1.408 for diesel.
