Naturgy withdraws from solar panel competition

The company Naturgy announced that it will not participate in the installation of solar panels in Panama. As of today, the company has registered 4,400 solar installations. Naturgy's decision not to participate in the installation of new solar panels is related to the assessed financial effectiveness of projects using solar energy.

"Many consumers are transitioning to the use of solar energy, which puts pressure on the overall feasibility of deploying a large number of facilities in new renewable energy projects and encourages us to engage more actively with our existing customer base," noted Naturgy.

The company will continue to support its current solar installations and will monitor so that customers continue to use the energy produced by these installations.
