The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has recommended to the Ministry of Health (Minsa) a budget of 2.374 billion dollars for the fiscal year 2025. This amount was suggested taking into account the health sector needs in Panama and aiming to ensure adequate care for the population.
Minsa presented its budget for fiscal year 2025, which amounts to 2.374 billion dollars. This figure was proposed by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, considering the importance of strengthening the health system and providing quality care to all citizens.
According to the official communication from MEF, this budget will allow Minsa to improve hospital infrastructure, acquire state-of-the-art medical equipment, as well as train healthcare personnel to provide optimal service to the population. This investment is framed within the government's commitment to guarantee the right to health for all Panamanians.
The Minister of Health highlighted the importance of this budget to strengthen the country's health system and improve the quality of life of citizens.
