The post-electoral subsidy amounting to 6 million balboas will be allocated to the National Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (Senacyt) in Panama. This sum will be used to carry out scientific research focused on cancer, thus contributing to the advancement in the fight against this disease.

In the words of the director of Senacyt, this investment will strengthen the scientific and technological capabilities of the country, as well as develop projects of high relevance for the health of the Panamanian population. This initiative represents an important step in promoting research in such a crucial area as oncology.
