The Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) decided to suspend evaluations in the agricultural areas of Panama due to adverse weather conditions recorded in different parts of the country.
This measure responds to the need to ensure the safety of the evaluators and to preserve the integrity of the cultivation areas given the prevailing weather conditions. It is expected that once conditions improve, evaluations will resume to continue monitoring the status of the agricultural areas in Panama.
"The suspension of evaluations is a preventive measure aimed at protecting our staff and ensuring that evaluations are carried out under safe and optimal conditions," stated a representative of MIDA. "We are committed to the protection and development of the agricultural sector, and we take these measures with the goal of ensuring the continuity of our work in a safe and efficient manner," they added.
