The Ambassador of South Korea, Jeong Jinkyu, met with the President of Panama, José Raúl Mulino, to discuss the interest in strengthening trade relations and seeking new investments.

The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, met this Tuesday with the ambassador of South Korea, Jeong Jinkyu, and two members of the National Assembly of South Korea: Kang Hoon Sik and Park Sung Hoon. During the meeting, the delegation expressed to President Mulino their interest in strengthening trade relations between South Korea and Panama.

The Korean delegation expressed their desire to increase investments in Panama and explore new business opportunities in the country. The ambassador and the members highlighted the importance of tightening bilateral ties and working together to boost the economic development of both nations.

In response, President Mulino expressed his satisfaction with South Korea's interest in strengthening trade ties with Panama. He emphasized the importance of promoting foreign investment in the country and committed to working to create a favorable environment for the arrival of new investments.

"Panama is open to receiving new investments and strengthening its trade relations with strategic partners like South Korea," the president stated during the meeting. Both parties agreed to continue exploring cooperation possibilities in various economic sectors for mutual benefit.
