On Saturday, January 25th, the Solidarity Support Committee of the Colón Chapter of the Panamanian Association of Social Workers conducted a tour to the community of Quebrada Grande, in the District of Donoso. This activity was supported by various companies and backed by the Sabanitas Lions Club.
During the visit, the Colón Chapter shared with the families of the community, bringing them joy and delivering toys, clothing, school supplies, and providing guidance on the importance of family. The initiative was developed by a member of the Education Committee along with a lawyer, who successfully coordinated the action.
As one of the organizers emphasized: "It is important to provide not only material aid to these communities, but also guidance and support. We want to contribute to the well-being of these families and promote fundamental values." The solidarity day resulted in an impactful and emotional moment for both the beneficiaries and participants.
