The National Borders Service (SENAFRONT), in coordination with the National System for Civil Protection (SINAPROC) and the Ministry of Social Development (MIDES), carried out the evacuation and relocation of about 50 people, including children and adults, from the Majagual community and surrounding areas in the BarĂº district. These individuals were affected by constant rains and flooding. In response to the situation, a temporary shelter was set up at the 'Gloria Deportivo Baruenses' stadium to provide them with safety and humanitarian aid. As a preventive measure, work was also underway to prepare another shelter at the Majagual School. SENAFRONT continues to conduct constant monitoring, mainly in flood-prone areas, with the aim of assisting the community.

Panama's border, civil protection, and social development services jointly evacuated about 50 residents from the Majagual community and surrounding areas in BarĂº district due to flooding caused by heavy rains. The victims are being housed in temporary shelters.
