He suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, with the exit wound in his shoulder blade, resulting from the shootout. Regarding De León's background, it was reported that a firearm was confiscated from him in 2015, and in 2018 he was flagged for domestic violence; furthermore, there was an arrest warrant issued against him by the Primary Attention Prosecutor's Office. An intense shootout that left one person dead and a presumed murderer captured occurred at around 2:00 AM this Sunday on Calle B, Santa Ana, in front of the multifamily buildings of Patio Pinel. The victim was identified as Yahir Noriel De León Salgado (35 years old), who ended up with several gunshot wounds to his body. Supposedly, the man was the presumed leader of the gang that operates in 'Renta 15' and was traveling in a white pickup truck when the exchange of gunfire began. Injured, De León was pulled out of the vehicle by youths from the area who apparently knew him and attempted to assist him, but he died regardless.
