According to the artist's former representative, the altercation was not directly with the crew, but with another passenger who complained that Rodríguez had improperly placed his carry-on bag, where he allegedly carried essential medications.
For the time being, American Airlines has not commented on the matter or issued statements about the reasons that led them to decide to remove him from the plane.
The famous Venezuelan singer José Luis "El Puma" Rodríguez was involved in a scandal in recent hours after being removed from a plane following a dispute with the crew.
According to information circulating on social media, the singer had boarded an American Airlines flight in Ecuador with a destination to Miami when a discussion with the plane's staff began.
Apparently, the whole problem started because "El Puma" had placed his suitcase in a compartment far from his seat, and when asked to move it, he refused.
Another conflict would be some of the medications he was carrying in his luggage.
Despite Rodríguez apologizing several times, he was finally removed from the flight.
In the images that were published, the singer can be seen recording the situation from the end of the aisle and saying: "I don't feel well, and the crew won't let me be here. It's the first time in my life…". He is then interrupted by the captain who rudely yells at him: "Get off my plane right now! You can't do this in front of everyone, you were very rude to our crew members".
