In Cristo Rey, San Miguelito, five men in a vehicle were surprised by units of the National Police, sparking a chase. The vehicle's occupants tried to flee at all costs, but ended up crashing into a utility pole that, unfortunately for them, had a security camera. After the impact, the men tried to continue running, but the police units quickly apprehended them. Police found accessories, presumed replicas of firearms, and items that could be linked to robberies, which are now part of the investigation. The five detainees were taken to the local police station, where they will remain in custody while the investigation determines their responsibility for other criminal activities.
