The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama (IMHPA) warned that unstable weather conditions, typical of the transition between the rainy and dry seasons, will persist on December 24 and 25. Forecaster Blas Córdoba explained that sporadic rains are expected, mainly in the Caribbean, including Colón, Costa Arriba, Costa Abajo, northern Veraguas, the Ngäbe-Buglé comarca, and Bocas del Toro. In the Pacific, rains will be less frequent, although isolated events may occur in Panama Este and Darién. Additionally, IMHPA maintains a watch warning for intensified winds and waves, resulting from the strengthening of trade winds in the Caribbean, a condition that will last at least until the 25th. Authorities recommend caution for fishermen, swimmers, and small boats, and to stay attentive to official bulletins during these dates.
