Panama's Mega Rice Fairs 29‑30 December

The Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA) announced that it will hold Mega Rice Fairs on December 29 and 30 in several provinces of Panama. The aim is to provide affordable, high‑quality rice, especially during the holiday season when demand for staples rises. Monday’s fairs will take place in San Miguelito, Changuinola, Ocú, Tortí, Penonomé and Metetí in Darién. On Tuesday the events will continue in Soná and Santiago (Veraguas), Macaracas and Las Tablas (Los Santos), Cristóbal (Colón), Chiriquí, Santa Fe (Darién), Juan Díaz (Panama City), Capira (West Panama), Chepo (East Panama) and in La Pintada and Antón (Coclé). IMA highlighted that the fairs will help families save on essential food items.
