An agreement of cooperation has been signed between SERTV and the José Armando Corella Rovira Folklore Foundation to promote and disseminate the International Folkloric Festival of the Almojábano with Cheese. This event, which pays tribute to Panamanian folklore and renowned folklorists from the province of Chiriquí, will take place in the district of Dolega from January 28 to February 1, solidifying itself as one of the most important cultural events in the region. According to the organizers, the support of state media is fundamental to elevate the event's profile and ensure that the artistic expressions from the country's interior reach a national and international audience through multi-platform coverage. As part of the agreement, SERTV will deploy a television, radio, and digital broadcasting strategy. The special programming will include a live broadcast of the main event on Saturday, January 31, at 6:00 p.m., as well as the folkloric parade on Sunday, February 1, starting at 4:00 p.m. This alliance reaffirms SERTV's institutional mission to be the main platform for the preservation of culture.
