The Capira mayor's office and security agencies are preparing to receive over 100,000 people during the four days of carnival. As stated by Mayor Yau, SINAPROC will define, based on capacity limits, the number of people who will be able to access the areas where the 'culecos' will take place. Subcommissioner José Córdoba, head of the nineteenth police zone of Chame, said that a security operation has already been set up with four inspection filters and units on the external perimeter of the carnival. For this operation, 200 police units have been assigned, specified Subcommissioner Córdoba, distributed in several shifts. This year, both carnival queens have promised they will have the 'tonadas prende parques', which have already passed the mayor's office review. For the carnival's realization, the Capira municipality grants $5,000 to the 'calle arriba y abajo' tunas, in addition to an unspecified amount to the two carnival queens. In addition, an extension of the operating hours at the health center located in Capira's district capital has been coordinated with the Ministry of Health (MINSA). Ket Wong Yau, mayor of this district, said that in coordination with the National Police (PN) and the National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC), four access control points for people have been established.
