More than 30,000 men and women from the Public Force will be deployed nationwide for the Safe Carnivals 2026, reported the Minister of Public Security, Frank Alexis Abrego, during a press conference held at the Las Tablas police barracks. According to the entity, the operation will begin before the Carnival and will remain active throughout the festivities, with the aim of preventing incidents, protecting life, and ensuring that Panamanians and visitors enjoy themselves with tranquility and order. “Our priority is clear: for every person to return home safely,” reiterated the minister, while highlighting the advance planning and coordination of all security entities at the national level.
