During the tonada practices, both queens gave their all to their followers, who packed Simón Bolívar Park and also Las Viudas Square, the venue for tonada practices in the Villa. The queen of Calle Abajo, Nelmary Villarreal Menacho, stated that her tuna has prepared with effort and dedication to offer a show worthy of the tradition. She noted that they are more than ready for the party and sent a direct message to their rivals: Calle Abajo will arrive with force, luxury, splendor, colors, and joy to conquer the public. Meanwhile, the queen of Calle Arriba, Mehel Priscila García, invited everyone to enjoy a healthy and fun carnival in the Villa de Los Santos.
