On the last day of the town festival, the regional team of the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in the province of Colón moved to the Transísthma area to verify compliance with health regulations. The epicenter of the carnivals remains in the Gatuncillo Norte community, in the San Juan district, where dozens of people have accompanied by family and friends to enjoy this last day of revelry. The inspection began in the communities of 20 and Gatuncillo Norte, both in the San Juan district, the latter being the population where the carnivals are taking place. During the inspection, the chlorine level in the tanker trucks used for the water mojaderas was checked, and the results showed that they had adequate levels. In the community of 20, 12 commercial establishments were inspected, where 16 food handlers were working, and they were all in compliance. Meanwhile, in the Gatuncillo Norte community, 12 itinerant food handlers were verified, and no irregularities were found.
