A taxi driver was assassinated in Panama on Friday morning while driving down a street. He was intercepted by hitmen before reaching his destination and was shot dead behind the wheel of his taxi, license plate T05193. The vehicle ended up wedged in a small turnaround space in front of a house. The first to arrive at the scene were units from the Linces police force, who secured the area to preserve any evidence. Although the victim's identity has not been revealed, it is known that he was well-known in the area because his family lives there.
