In the framework of International Women's Day, the Don Bosco Communal Board will hold the community fair 'Life, Health, and Action for All Women', a comprehensive event focused on the well-being, health, entrepreneurship, and job opportunities for women.
The event, backed by the Ministry of Women, will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in La Riviera Park in Don Bosco, and will bring together state institutions, private companies, and social organizations that will offer services, advice, and programs specifically directed at women in the community and neighboring areas.
It was reported that during the event, attendees will be able to access various basic health services, including blood pressure measurement, blood glucose testing, vaccinations, height and weight control, as well as general medical guidance. Additionally, information on women's health, overall well-being, and prevention will be provided, with the support of various health sector institutions.
The event will also feature job fairs for women, with the participation of companies like MiBus and Pollos del Día, which will offer job opportunities for attendees. Institutions such as INADEH, AMPYME, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, and the Panamanian Autonomous Cooperative Institute will provide guidance on training, business formalization, entrepreneurship development, and access to economic support programs.
Financial entities will also present products and services designed for women entrepreneurs, with the aim of boosting their economic autonomy.
On the other hand, the event will also include cultural presentations, educational activities, and community guidance spaces, with the participation of institutions such as the Ministry of Health, the National Police, the Ombudsman's Office, the National Secretariat for Science, Technology, and Innovation, and the Ministry of Culture.
The fair will also be a space to care for, learn, undertake, and share, in commemoration of International Women's Day.
