In the heart of Darién, the 'Therians' operation, mounted by the SENAFRONT, left two citizens behind bars and a drug shipment that caught everyone's attention. The action was carried out through a controlled purchase, a strategy that allowed authorities to seize over 120 bundles of presumed white powder cocaine, 17 bundles of the famous TUSI or 'pink cocaine,' and dry herb of presumed marijuana. Additionally, materials used for packaging and moving the drugs were confiscated. At the time of the arrest, the suspects had about $100 in cash, money that was already judicialized as part of the operation and now forms part of the evidence against them. According to police sources, one of those captured is the main drug supplier in that area. Although 'pink cocaine' may seem harmless due to its striking color, experts warn of serious risks to the physical and mental health of consumers. The two detainees, along with all seized items, were handed over to the competent authorities, who will continue with the corresponding legal process. This blow adds to recent actions against organized crime in the region, where the SENAFRONT also captured alias 'Pantera,' linked to the Gulf Clan.
