The regional director of Education for Panamá Centro, Mireya Pino, announced that the necessary preparations are being made for students from seventh to eleventh grade at the Elena Chávez de Pinate School to resume in-person classes next Monday, the 30th.

The official specified that on Monday, the 30th, they will welcome students from seventh to eleventh grade at the school's facilities, in an organization that she described as transitional, while schedules and the assignment of teachers are coordinated to guarantee educational attention.

She detailed that while other locations are being identified to serve the more than 2,000 students at the school, it has been decided to divide the student population into two groups as a provisional organizational measure.

Similarly, the regional director sent a message to the educational community, in which she emphasized that students are the priority, regardless of other interests.

Pino explained that adaptations are currently being made at the El Buen Pastor school, located near the old facilities, with the aim of setting up temporary spaces to serve the students.
