During Easter celebrations, the Archbishop of Panama, José Domingo Ulloa, presided over a moving ceremony at a prison where over 50 inmates received the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. The celebration concluded with profound joy in the context of the Archdiocesan Jubilee Year, as a sign of a Church that accompanies and believes in the possibility of starting anew. Ulloa addressed them on this solemn occasion. During the homily, he emphasized that Easter is new life and real transformation, stressing that Baptism is a true “clean slate”: “For God, no one is lost. Today they are born again as beloved children,” emphasized the highest-ranking official of the Catholic Church in Panama. The archbishop also reminded everyone that the dignity of every person remains intact and that faith opens paths of hope and reintegration.
