The motorcyclist is in critical condition after being involved in a head-on collision with a white sedan last night on the Inter-American Highway, near a building materials company in the district of Bugaba (ChiriquÃ). Due to the strong impact, the motorcyclist was thrown into the air and fell onto the roadway with serious injuries. The driver of the sedan, in turn, accelerated and fled the scene, abandoning the victim. Fire department units arrived at the scene to assist and transport the victim to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, units from the National Police's Operations Department began an investigation to locate the other driver involved, whose case has been complicated by his fleeing. The vehicle is fully identified because the brutal accident was captured on video by a surveillance camera from a building located right in front of the collision point.
