Panama - A subject known by the alias 'Wacha Man' was killed by police units in the area known as El Hueco, in sector #5 of Samaria, Sinai, located in the district of San Miguelito. Preliminary information details that, supposedly, the subject arrived in the sector to attempt on the lives of some rivals in the area, leading to a shootout. Area residents called the National Police, who, upon arriving at the scene, saw three subjects with firearms in hand. Subcommissioner Omar Del Cid, executive of the San Miguelito police zone, detailed that when the units arrived at the location, an exchange of fire occurred between them and the suspects, during which 'Wacha Man' died at the scene. Meanwhile, the other two suspects were also apprehended, and a firearm, a type of pistol, caliber 45, was recovered at the scene. The victim had an extensive police record, which highlights illegal possession of a firearm, according to Subcommissioner Del Cid. After the procedures related to this case, the suspects and the weapon were taken to the nearest police substation to be referred to the Public Ministry, whose staff is in charge of advancing the investigation of the case.
