
The Center offered a workshop on the prevention of cardiopulmonary arrests and management of patient death directed at residents in training in medical emergencies, students of the bachelor's degree in medical emergencies and respiratory therapy.
During the training, the importance of the knowledge and skills necessary to face critical situations in patient care was emphasized. The need to act quickly and effectively in the event of cardiopulmonary arrests was highlighted, as well as knowing the appropriate protocols for addressing the death of a patient in the medical field.
Among the participants, key concepts about the care of critical patients, the importance of effective communication with the health team, and the integral management of emergency situations were reinforced. Additionally, practices and simulations were carried out to apply the knowledge acquired during the workshop.
One of the attendees expressed the importance of having specialized training in the care of critical patients, as it allows for quality care and saving lives in emergency situations.
